Wind turbine tower inner outer wall shot blasting machine

This machine is specialized for shot blasting and peening cleaning of inner and outer walls of wind turbine towers, and is also suitable for processing inner and outer walls of large pipelines and steel tanks.

Outer wall shot blasting quickly removes oxide scales, aged paint and other attachments on the surface of pipelines and steel tanks to form a base surface with proper roughness for subsequent protective coating construction. It improves coating adhesion, enhances the fatigue strength and corrosion resistance of workpieces, optimizes internal quality and prolongs service life.

The inner wall adopts shot peening technology: compressed air accelerates shots to generate kinetic energy for cleaning the inner wall of pipes and steel cylinders. After the pipe is positioned in the gun chamber, the spray gun automatically extends into the inner cavity and moves axially to realize 360° all-round cleaning of the pipe inner wall.

The outer wall model is our independently developed professional rust removal equipment for wind turbine towers. Equipped with high-efficiency motor direct-coupled shot blasters, its rotating shaft provides swing angle compensation to keep tight sealing between blasters and towers. By matching tower rotation with axial movement of blasters along the tower axis, it efficiently completes rust removal for outer walls of wind turbine towers (steel pipes).

The inner wall blasting trolley travels on cross beams with variable frequency speed regulation, leaving evenly wide annular silver cleaned strips on the tower surface. The precise coordination of trolley traveling speed and tower rotating speed makes adjacent strips overlap seamlessly for dead-angle-free full coverage. A step-by-step grinding mode is available for steel pipe inner walls: the trolley shifts position after finishing one circle of grinding and works section by section until the entire inner wall is cleaned.
